We love maternity sessions at our studio.  I don't know if it's because all mothers-to-be are so radiant or if it's just because the soon-to-be parents are so happy.  Either case, congratulations to Tiffany and Josh.  As you can see it won't be very long until the reality of parenthood sets in for them.

There are certain types of photo sessions that I just love to do.  I love newborns, maternity sessions, brides and seniors.  Courtney is our most recent senior.  It just seems that seniors are always cute, or in the case of boys, looking their best.  And they come with the attitude that they want good pictures.  I hope we live up to their expectations.

We've been photographing Gracie and Davis for a few years now.  At least Davis, Gracie just turned one and she's been part of our "Baby's First Year" plan.  And isn't she cute?

Easter

Joy and I attend a little church that meets in a warehouse in Calera, Alabama - The Church at Shelby Crossings .  It's always my privilege to be the "official" photographer whenever I can.  But, because we have a photo studio that's open during a lot of the church events I often can't be at some to the more fun things we do.

But, I did get to be there for the Easter musical.  It was great.  Even though we're a small and young church, we have some great people.  Adam Cunningham ( check his website ), our worship leader,  wrote the Easter musical and recorded all the musical accompaniment. Lot's of my friends, who I didn't know had such talents, were in the production.  The composite below is a sample of the photos.  For the next few weeks or so I will have all the photos posted on my site at www.BlueMoonStudios.net/tcasceaster .

This was our fourth time to get to photograph Tram.  He's one of our "Baby's First Year" kids and he just had his first birthday.  We went to his house and photographed him outside.  The day was beautiful and he was in a great mood.

Morning Walk

If you know me, you know that I love the outdoors and try to take regular morning walks.  Usually with Joy (my wife) and Sophie (our dog).  Joy was out of town this morning so just Sophie and I went.  Normally I don't take a camera, but today I did and spent less time walking and more time just enjoying the morning.  Joe Tucker Park isn't that scenic, but at least they allow dogs and have some wooded area where I can let Sophie run and chase the squirrels.

The forecasters were saying that there was a good chance of rain, but the sun came out and we had a beautiful day.  We also had a beautiful bride and a good looking groom.  Guys, your wedding was great.  May your marriage be a blessed one.

We've known Owen for about a year now.  He's one of our regulars.  This week he came in for his one-year photo session.

Seeing kids like Owen, and his brother and sister, grow up before our lens is one of the many joys we have in our job.  We are so blessed to get to do what we do.
